Through Patience and Hope, toward the Light
Edinburgh
Robert Burns Lodge
Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite
1759 – 1796
Named in honour of the Scottish poet Robert Burns, our lodge draws inspiration from his celebration of human dignity, friendship and universal brotherhood. His words remind us that neither rank nor wealth defines a person’s worth, and that brotherly love can bring people together across borders.
In Edinburgh, our aim is to offer a place for reflection, symbolic work and sincere fellowship within the Traditional Grand Lodge of Scotland. We place love for our fellow human beings at the heart of this journey, seeking to express it through attentive listening, mutual respect and practical solidarity.
